Kyoshi Sho Professorship

I started Judo at the age of 28. I taught a Judo class for many years for the Decatur Parks and Recreation Department in Decatur, AL. During this time, I formed the Decatur Judo Club and competed in tournaments throughout the Southeastern States including Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky and North Carolina. I placed first place in my weight division in many of the tournaments throughout my years of competition. The high point of my competition was when I earned Grand Champion over the Champions of all weight divisions during a tournament held on the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
