The martial artists of the month for May is Mr. Jason Keaton of Cyclone Martial Arts in Elizabethtown, KY
Mr. Keaton is a former Pro MMA fighter and veteran of King of the Cage and Extreme Combat Challenge. Mr. Keaton is the first black belt to be promoted by Master Renato Tavarres in Brazilian Jiujitsu. He also holds black belt instructor certifications in Sambo and Wing Chun.
Mr. Keaton has trained in judo, Japanese jujitsu, wrestling, kali and muay thai and is currently employed at Ft. Knox as a senior Level IV Modern Army Combatives instructor. He has taught Law Enforcement, military and coached many MMA fighters. He continues to train and compete in submission wrestling events. He continues to be a student of the martial arts as well as an instructor. He most recently devised the Little Twisters kids grappling program and the Cyclone MMA system.
