Professor Dan Smith is a highly decorated combat veteran with over 20 years in the Special Forces unit.  Prof. Smith has over 30 years in the Martial Arts and has won many Judo titles.  Prof. Smith has training in Judo, Yudo, Boxing, Karate, Kickboxing, wrestling, Kendo and Fencing.

Prof. Smith has taught combative fighting to the military, police and protection agencies around the world.  Prof. Smith has a degree from the University of Memphis in education and has instructed in Martial Arts at all levels from recreation programs, military applications and college teams.  Prof. Smith was selected by the U.S. Olympic Committee to coach/manage the U.S. team to the World College Games in Beijing, China.  Prof. Smith had these words to say, “As a competitor, I have won several National Championships and three World Championships.  My system is based upon the techniques of grappling, submissions, and striking that I have instructed to Special Forces for over 20 years.”
