Latest Black Belt for the year 2006, Mr. Allen Green, Shodan in Yudo.
Mr. Green, a member of MAUSA and a judo competitor in USJA Judo, has made his mark in the martial arts world by working effortless towards his goal, black belt. Coming to workouts every day when he can, working out with Dr. Beard during the off season and with the help of his fellow judokas, he was able to achieve this momentous award for all his hard work. "I am so proud of his accomplishments and devotion to the art." -- Mike Gurno.
Under the watchful eyes of high ranking yudo instructors, watching for the slightest error, he managed to appease them by performing well under 5 long, tiresome and sweaty hours in the dojo. Throw after throw, submission after submission, he and his ukes, Professor Beard and team mates, Brandon, Rosser and Adam, wore out from the test, bowed to the next sensei. Afterwards, Professor Beard and Sensei Green finally got to drink water and take this picture before they both passed out.
