Pre-Requisites:

1. Must be an individual of integrity and character.
2. Submit brief resume to include profession, talents, interests, goals. (Include all contact information, e-mail / web / address / phone / date of birth & last four digits of your social security number).
3. Submit separate outline of your martial arts history to include years of training, arts studied, ranks, instructors, and time in grade of your highest rank held.
4. Submit four passport-size photos.
5. Submit membership application found on Martial Arts USA web. (See fees at end of guideline).

Membership benefits:

1. Membership certificate and ID.
2. Convert legitimate rank certification to Martial Arts USA.
3. Newsletter.
4. Training seminar discounts.
5. Program requirements for advancement / certification.
6. Gi-Patch.
7. Direct-link rank registration to Korea.
8. Annual opportunity to travel & train in Korea.

School Owners:

1. Membership Certificate and ID.
2. School Charter Certificate.
3. Curriculum Outline.
4. Training seminar discounts.
5. Gi-Patch.
6. Promotion advancement & certification.
7. Direct-link rank registration to Korea.
8. Annual opportunity to travel and train in Korea.

Membership Fees:

• School Owner annual fee -- $25.00
• Annual rank registration fee to Korea SimMuDo Association -- $75.00 for the first year.  ($55 annual fee and $20 registration fee.  $55 annual fee each year thereafter).
• All Blackbelts must be life members of MAUSA. The fee is $100.

Promotional Fees:

1. Any legitimate black belt rank or style can be converted to Martial Arts USA Certification for a fee of: $200.00
2. Any lower belt certification (under black belt) can be converted to Martial Arts USA Certification for a fee of: $35.00
3. Promotional fees are as follows: 8-1st kyu, $7. Dan fees (after the initial shodan fee) are $100 each. Shodan fees are slightly more because all Black Belts include registration of the ranks in Korea. This fee covers rank registration.

   1st	Dan	$125.00
   2nd	Dan	$100.00
   3rd	Dan	$100.00
